Central Texas July 4 Fireworks Displays

Downtown Austin
Austin Symphony H-E-B 4th of July Fireworks and Concert
Orchestra will begin performing at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m., ending at 10:00 p.m.
Parking:
Park North of Lady Bird Lake at one of numerous downtown garages, Palmer Events Center or One Texas Center.
Personal and Public Safety reminders:

  • Alcohol, Glass, Styrofoam and smoking are prohibited at this family friendly event.
  • Grilling is not allowed at Auditorium Shores for public safety and due to the number of people on site.
  •  Stay hydrated, wear protective headwear and breathable clothing, pack sunscreen, and wear sensible footwear for this popular outdoor event.
  • The waterway between 1st Street Bridge and Lamar area will be closed at night for public safety for the duration of the fireworks show.
  • A small portion of the hike and bike trail between Shoal Creek and 1st Street Bridge will be closed for safety during firework preparations between 8 am and 10 pm on July 4.
  • No pets

Shuttles to the lake begin at 4 p.m. with Hendrickson High School buses dropping off at the north shore and Pflugerville High School shuttles dropping off at the south shore.

4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Food, children's activities, watercraft rentals
5 p.m. - Brian Burns Concert
8 p.m. - Final buses leave schools

8:05 p.m. - Austin Civic Wind Ensemble Patriotic Concert
9 p.m. - National Anthem
9:15 p.m. - Fireworks
9:45 p.m. - Ruby Jane Concert
11:30 p.m. - Last bus leaves park
