The live debut of the band's multi-platinum rock opera, The Lost Christmas Eve will play 65 cities across North America, with a stop at Cedar Park Center on December 20th.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra teams with Hallmark Channel this holiday season to present the live debut of the band's multi-platinum rock opera, The Lost Christmas Eve, playing more than 100 shows in 65 cities across North America.  The Orchestra returns to the Austin area two spectacular shows at Cedar Park Center on December 20th at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Tickets for both shows go on-sale Saturday, September 15th, at 10 a.m.

The newest chapter in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) holiday tradition, The Lost Christmas Eve features a diverse soundtrack fusing elements of rock, classical, folk, Broadway and R&B.  The rock opera takes the audience on a journey into the "Capra-esque" world of TSO creator and producer, Paul O'Neill.  Encompassing a rundown hotel, an old toy store, a blues bar, a Gothic cathedral, this seaon's show follows the respective inhabitants as they are intertwined during a single enchanted Christmas Eve in New York City.

For this year's tour, The Lost Christmas Eve will be performed in its entirety and will feature the hit single, "Wizards in Winter," as well as long-time crowd favorites such as "Christmas Nights in Blue" and "Siberian Sleigh Ride."   The concert will be followed by brand new songs from TSO's Fall EP release from Lava/Republic, Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night), classics from TSO's debut album, Christmas Eve & Other Stories, and the rest of the heralded catalogue of rock operas.

Since their debut in 1996, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has continually ranked in the Pollstar magazine Top 10 for both gross revenues and attendance by playing live to more than one million fans annually.  Since their inception, TSO has sold in excess of 8.5 million albums and performed to more than 9 million fans in 150 cities worldwide.  The band's rock operas have been regarded as a mix of The Who's Tommy, Andrew Lloyd Weber's musicals and Pink Floyd's expansive light show.

Reserved seats for the 4 p.m. show will be $31.50, $43.50, $53.50 and $68.50.  Tickets for the 8 p.m. show will be $47.50, $57.50, $67.50 and $73.50.

A portion of the proceeds from every ticket will benefit a local charity.  As a special offer, Ticketmaster will be offering a download of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s newest release, Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night), with every ticket sold online.  The download will be redeemable beginning October 30th, the EP's release date.

The Cedar Park Center is located at 2100 Avenue of the Stars between Highway 183 and toll road 183A, on New Hope Road.  Tickets will be available at the Cedar Park Center ticket office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at www.TicketMaster.com.
