Want to take your family camping but dont know where to start?

Texas Outdoor Family Workshops make it fun and easy for your family to learn how to camp! For just $65, a family of up to 6 can get hands on experience to learn the basics of camping. For example: how to set-up and breakdown a campsite, start a campfire and  identify wildlife. Your family will also get to enjoy the outdoors with activities such as geocaching, paddling and fishing. No equipment or experience necessary!

If tent camping is not your thing, try a cabin or a yurt! Texas State Parks offer a variety of ways for your family to enjoy an overnight stay. Reservations fill up quickly, so book your next overnight adventure today.
