The City of Cedar Park - Parks & Recreation Department maintains over 500 acres of parkland, over forty parks, 92 acres of cave preserves, 92 acres of detention pond areas, 121 acres of undeveloped parkland, a community garden, a clubhouse, basketball courts, four tennis courts, two swimming pools, a water playscape, Recreation Center, skate park, and much more!
Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre park that offers active and natural resource-based recreational opportunities. Facilities include: A Playground; water playscape; hike and bike trail; nature trail; exercise station; three pavilions; picnic tables and BBQ grills; sand volleyball court; canoe/kayak launch; fishing pier; wildlife observation area; labyrinth; restrooms; parking area; and a 38-acre lake that was constructed in 1965. Activities allowed on the lake include fishing, non-motorized boating and wildlife observation. Trolling motors are not permitted. Pavilions can be rented for parties and special events. The water playscape operates daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is open from May through September.
Offering an array of family sports activities, the Brushy Creek Sports Park is perfect for baseball, softball, disc golf, hiking, biking, skateboarding or playing soccer. Also offering a playscape and plenty of room to run, this park is fun for the whole family.
