Abercorn International School
Abercorn is located in a stunning, purpose-built facility in Lakeway; a beautiful lakefront community just west of Austin.
The school is easily accessible from Austin, Bee Caves, Westlake and other areas via FM 2222 and Bee Caves Road.
An abundance of natural light, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities, create a warm, stimulating and child-centered atmosphere at Abercorn International School.
Step inside our school and you'll notice the striking classrooms, equipped with interactive whiteboard technology. Traditional inclusions such as reading rugs, areas for circle time and dynamic play, meld with these technologies to offer a truly modern and effective learning arena.
Our students enjoy supervised access to Internet-connected computers, and have weekly visits to the library; designed to foster love of reading while introducing students to the excitement and potential of research both online and through written text.
During art and music lessons, our students are encouraged to explore and take full advantage of the array of resources on offer.
Abercorn offers expansive, safe, outdoor play-areas, as well as various indoor flexible-use spaces. The school also makes use of additional nearby facilities for swimming and other sports.
