Cirque Dreams Holidaze Takes Center Stage At Long Center

Updated: Wednesday, November 21 2012, 06:50 AM CST
Just back from entertaining troops overseas, the Cirque Holiday Spectacular is taking center stage at the Long Center.

Thousands will be attracted to Dell Hall as it is transformed into a winter wonderland.

An international cast of more than 30 multi-talented and brilliantly costumed artists will perform astonishing feats of disbelief.

Audiences can expected two hours of gingerbread men flying through the air, toy soldiers marching on thin wires, snowmen defying the laws of physics, icemen powerfully sculpting, penguins spinning, puppets caroling and reindeer soaring high above a landscape of holiday wonderment.

Performances are November 21, 23, and 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  The last show is November 25 at 2 p.m.

Several charitable organizations such as Texas Gas Service, Caritas of Austin, Operation Blue Santa, Girl Scouts of America, and The Chula League's Cherrywood Art Fair are partnering with the production.
