GM Working On Compensation Plan Stemming From Faulty Ignitions

Updated: Friday, June 27 2014, 06:16 AM CDT

The fallout for General Motors faulty ignition switches continues.

Come Monday morning, we should have details on the company's compensation plan.

GM called in Kenneth Feinberg to outline the plan.

He came up with similar packages for victims of the 9/11 attacks and the Virginia Tech massacre.

It took GM more than a decade to recall the 2.6 million vehicles equipped with those faulty switches.

It’s linked to 13 deaths and 54 accidents.

Industry experts believe the real number is much higher.
