Updated: Monday, March 17 2014, 07:55 AM CDT
Monday, the man accused of killing two people and injuring 23 at South By Southwest could face additional charges.

Rashad Owens, 21, is expected to be arraigned Monday after allegedly driving his car drunk into a crowd of people on Thursday during the busy music festival.

Owens sits behind bars on $3 million bond, charged with Capital Murder, and more charges could be on the way.

According to the police report, a breath test given after the crash showed Owens had a BAC of .114, over the .08 legal limit for intoxication.

Police had told KEYE shortly after the crash they planned to charge Owens with 23 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Vehicle.

Authorities released in days following the crash that the car Owens allegedly used to plow into the South By Southwest crowd was stolen from Killeen.

We’ve also learned Owens reportedly never showed up for a court appearance in Alaska.

He was arrested there for DUI in 2011. He was also arrested in Bell County in 2012 for criminal trespass.

Donors have raised more than $62,000 for the victims of the crash through the SXSW Cares fund as of Monday morning.

Right now, seven people are still hospitalized, two in critical condition. Thursday’s crash killed Steven Craenmehr, 35, of the Netherlands.

Austinite Jamie West was also killed in the crash. Hospital officials tell us her husband, Evan, who was also hurt, is improving.More Charges Expected Today For SXSW Crash Suspect
