Capitol Worker Arrested For Allegedly Recording Lewd Videos

Updated: Tuesday, June 24 2014, 04:55 PM CDT

A staff worker at the Texas State Capitol has been charged with improper photography of another employee.

Clifton James Bryan, a 31-year-old information technology worker, was taken into custody after the victim caught him taking videos under her skirt as he fixed her computer, court documents say.

The woman, a worker at a state representative's office, called the capitol's IT department last Friday after experiencing issues with her computer. According to the affidavit, Bryan worked on the issues for a few minutes, restarted the computer, and asked the woman to log back in -- as she stood over him, Bryan took out his iPhone and began recording.

Police say the woman caught Bryan in the act after he asked her to log in again. She contacted the Texas Department of Safety troopers immediately.

Bryan admitted to his actions shortly after the arrest, the arrest affidavit says. His bond has been set at $7,500.
