Cedar Park Shooting Victim Identified

The person who was shot outside a gun show in Cedar Park Saturday has been identified.

According to Cedar Park Police, officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 5:07 p.m. to the Austin Premier Gun Show at the Cedar Park Center.  They located the victim, 59 year-old John Glover Warden of Jarrell, Texas, in the parking lot.

Warden suffered the gunshot wound in a vehicle as his son-in-law, Jared Charles Priddy of Euless, Texas, was manipulating a firearm after having reloaded it.

Warden was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Hospital, where he later died.

The case remains under investigation but at this point, no criminal intent or motive has been discovered.
