Convicted Child Molester Could Be Hiding In San Marcos

Convicted child molester Clemente Alejandro Davila is on the run and the U.S. Marshals Service need your help catching him.

He's wanted in Caldwell, Hays and Grimes counties. But U.S. Marshals say he could be hiding in the San Marcos area.

Davila, 27, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl and sentenced in November 2006.

"This pattern of violating and offending and violating small children, females, that poses any community that he may be in at risk if he continues to be in the community," says U.S. Marshals Supervisory Deputy Hector Gomez.

He served five years, and received ten years of probation -- but after his release he failed to comply with sex offender registry in Hays County.

He was last seen in March 2013. He's also wanted on a marijuana possession and failure to appear in Grimes County.

"He hails from San Marcos, has family in San Marcos, presently we do not know where he's at. We suspect that he is not far from the immediate area of San Marcos," says Gomez.

Davila has several tattoos. There is a collage of different women's faces on his chest. He also has the word Houston tattooed on his abdomen.

Davila is 5'9 and 170 pounds.
