Family Searches For Missing Smithville Woman

Updated: Friday, August 22 2014, 10:56 PM CDT

The family of a missing Smithville, Texas woman is desperate for the public's help to find her.

Doyle Sullivent has not slept for weeks and for good reason. He said he has been searching day and night to find any information to help track down his missing cousin.

"As soon as I lay down my brain is going 100 miles an hour, and I think if I take this time to take a break that's 5-10 minutes I could have been doing something else," Sullivent said.

His cousin is 25-year-old Christine Mohler who vanished more than two weeks ago after leaving her friend's house in Bastrop, Texas.

"She was real close with her family, real close, and cares about her family a lot," Sullivent said.

Sullivent said her purse, her clothes, and everything she normally carries with her was left behind, which is a big reason her family believes she was planning on returning.

"Every day I get off [work] I'm driving up and down the streets, looking under bridges, looking under creek beds, and checking hotel rooms," Sullivent said.

It has been an endless search on the streets and on social media to bring home a young woman, and her family will do anything it takes to find her.

"I will never stop until I find her," Sullivent said. "I it takes 20 years from now I'll keep looking. Whatever I have to do, I'll do."
