Updated: Tuesday, July 15 2014, 05:56 PM CDT
A former boy scout camp staff member is under investigation by the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office, after allegedly unlawfully recording video in the staff showers.

According to the Boy Scouts of America Capitol Area Council, the videos were allegedly recorded by the 24-year-old staff member during the June 20-22 session of the 2014 Cub Scout Summer Camp at Cub World at Camp Tom Wooten.

"The camp director, in accordance with state law and the youth protection policies and procedures of the Boy Scouts of America, immediately contacted the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office upon discovering the video camera and turned the camera over to the authorities," a press release stated.

The Capitol Area Council says the staff member's registration with the Boy Scouts of America has been revoked.

Police say there are four victims, including two juveniles.

The staff member was employed at the camp between 2006 and 2014.

Officials say a juvenile located the camera and the camp director immediately contacted police.
