Updated: Monday, August 18 2014, 05:49 PM CDT

The U.S. Marshals Service says they need your help tracking down Aaron Wayne Ivy. He's been on the run since July 30 after investigators say he attacked a teenager in Bastrop County.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla says, "Ivy is armed and dangerous and is carrying a shotgun."

Ivy, 37, is accused of violently sexually assaulting a 16-year old girl in Paige, Texas.

Filla says, "The Bastrop County Sheriff's Department received a phone call at approximately one o'clock in the morning from the victim alleging she was sexually assaulted."

Witnesses last saw Ivy running from the home and carrying a shotgun. He is also a person of interest in a crime police say occurred the following day.

"This event took place at an industrial business when a crane operator notices a white male individual wearing a white t-shirt, carrying a shot gun and also firing shots at the business," says Filla.

But this isn't Ivy's first run in with the law.

Filla says, "Aaron Ivy has a criminal history that consists of deadly conduct where he discharged a firearm at law enforcement authorities when they arrived at a domestic violence call back in 2000 in Bastrop County and he also has burglary of a habitat where he was sentenced to eight years in the penitentiary."

Aaron ivy is 6'1", weighs 180 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm.

If you have information on Ivy's whereabouts call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at (512) 916-5393.
