UPDATE: Boil Water Notices Lifted At Fort Hood

Updated: Wednesday, July 16 2014, 03:58 PM CDT

UPDATE: Wednesday, July 16

Officials have lifted all boil water notices for Fort Hood.

Testing has been completed and officials say all tests came back with clean results.

A broken water line that supplies a Central Texas post has been repaired but a boil water notice continues at Fort Hood amid safety concerns.

Physical training was canceled Tuesday for all units during water restrictions at the nation's largest Army post.

Fort Hood officials say a boil water notice continues through at least Thursday morning until testing confirms standards are met for drinking water supplies.

A work crew on Saturday accidentally busted a water main serving parts of Central Texas. The accident happened in Belton, leading to the loss of at least 20 million gallons of water.

Fort Hood has about 40,000 active duty personnel.
