Police Searching For North Austin Bank Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for a man that robbed a bank near The Domain in North Austin Wednesday morning.

It happened at around 11:10 a.m. at the Chase Bank located at 11800 Domain Drive, just east of MoPac and north of Braker Lane.

Investigators say the male suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun, demanded money and fled the scene southbound toward The Domain with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as:

- White male

- Approx. 20-30 years old

- 5'8" to 5'10"

- Thin build

- Dark blue coveralls and a black ski mask

The suspect dropped a pack of Camel Turkish Gold cigarettes at the scene, police say.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092, Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS or text "Tip 103" your message to CRIMES. You may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest or charges being filed.

This is Austin's 6th bank robbery of 2014.
