Police Searching For NW Austin ATM Robbery Suspect

Police say they need the public's help finding a man they say robbed an ATM customer in Northwest Austin last week.

It happened Wednesday, June 25 at around 10 p.m. at a Wells Fargo ATM in the 13000 block of Research Boulevard, just north of the McNeil Drive intersection.

Investigators say the suspect was armed with a black handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim.  The suspect left the scene in a white 2007-2011, 4-door Toyota Yaris with tinted windows.  The rear passenger window was covered by cardboard taped to the door and the front passenger hubcap was missing.

The suspect is described as:

- White male
- Late 20s to early 30s
- 5'10" to 5'11" tall
- 170 lbs
- Short blonde hair

A Hispanic male was also seen in the front passenger seat of the suspect vehicle, police say.
