Reward Increased For Fugitive South Texas Sex Offender

Law enforcement officials say they want to remind the public that they've increased the reward for a fugitive on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 42-year-old Jerry Holmes is a sex offender who is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, assault and bond surrender forfeiture.

DPS says $13,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture.

His criminal history includes indecency with a child by exposure and assault.

Holmes has ties to several Harris county cities, including Pearland, Pasadena and Houston. He also has ties to Livingston (Polk County), Shepherd (San Jacinto County) and several Native American tribes in northeastern Oklahoma near Tulsa and Glenpool. Holmes has been known to work in the boating and trucking industries.  

He is described as 5'9", 220 pounds and has tattoos on his right arm, left leg and left hand. He also has a scar on his forehead. Click here for more information.
