A Round Rock woman was arrested after police say she attacked her brother after she stuck her fingers into a burrito he was eating.

Police responded to a home in the 2400 block of Lasso Drive on Wednesday after a male caller said that a female was drunk and had attacked him with a knife.

According to an affidavit, the victim said he was in the kitchen with his sister, identified as 55-year-old Cheryl Lenihan, when she stuck her fingers in a burrito he was eating. The man told police he and Lenihan began arguing about the cleanliness of her fingers before he walked out the back door.

When the victim returned to the kitchen, he says Lenihan grabbed a knife and swung it back and forth at him. He asked her what she was doing, at which point she then held the knife above her head and began stabbing at him, police say.

The victim told investigators it was like a scene out of "Bates Motel." He says he pushed Lenihan away from him, causing her to fall and drop the knife on the stove. The victim says he then grabbed the knife and put it in a paper bag before hiding it outside.

Police say Lenihan appeared to be extremely intoxicated when they interviewed her, saying nothing happened and her brother had no reason to call the police. Officers noticed a cut on her left elbow and knot over her right eye, which she couldn't remember how they occurred.

Lenihan's other brother, who was also in the house, spoke to police. He told officers he heard her and the victim arguing about her sticking her fingers in the burrito. He walked to the kitchen and saw Lenihan lying on the floor.

When officers told the other brother the victim's description of events, police say the man looked the officer in the eyes and said "It probably did happen."

Lenihan is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a 2nd degree felony.
