Austin Police have arrested a man for allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend's residence and setting parts of it on fire.

Police say on April 13th, a woman told the police she had been out of town for two weeks and when she came home, she noticed several items had been set on fire in her bedroom. Her bedroom window was also broken.

During the interview, the victim told officers while on her trip, she received a call from her ex-boyfriend asking for his X-Box back. When she refused he said he would "see her at her apartment" (but she was not home at the time).

Police interviewed the suspect, identified as Tarron Justin Commisso, 23, on May 1st. That's when Commisso admitted he went to his ex's apartment, broke in through the bedroom window, looking for his video game system. Since he couldn't find it, he said he "got pissed" and set two different fires inside the room.

He first set a fast food box on fire next to the victim's dresser and guitar. He later set a trash can on fire next to the window, according to his arrest affidavit.

Commisso was charged with arson and burglary of a residence, both first-degree felonies.
