Suspect from west Travis Co. double-murder commits suicide after police chase
UPDATE: The suspect from the double-homicide in west Travis County Wednesday night is dead after a police chase in Mississippi that ended when he took his own life.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office says Randall Lee Burrows shot himself in the head Friday at approximately 4:45 p.m. after his vehicle went off the road during the police pursuit.
He had been on the run after shooting three people at a home south of Lake Travis, killing two and critically injuring another.
Burrows was a handyman in the area, and the sheriff's office says the shooting happened after a business dispute.

Authorities have identified the man and woman killed in Wednesday night's fatal shooting in west Travis County that left two dead and another critically injured.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office says Richard Dale Guthrie, 60, and Susan Gulla-O'Leary, 60, were found dead with gunshot wounds.
It happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Whitebead Trail, about a mile south of the RM 620 and Hudson Bend Road intersection.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call and found two people dead from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Another victim is still in critical condition at a local hospital.
The Travis County Sheriff's Office says the suspect is Lakeway resident Randall Lee Burrows, 54. He fled the scene in a 2011 white Ford Escape with the Texas license plate FVX 4037. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators say the incident appears to be the result of a business dispute, but could not provide further details.
