A couple was arrested in Round Rock last week after police found them passed out with drugs and two young kids in their vehicle.

It happened Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Target parking lot located at 121 Louis Henna Blvd.

Investigators say officers were called out for a welfare concern call and found Cory Holloman, 26, and Amirah Silver, 23, passed out with black tar heroin and other drugs in their SUV. The vehicle's engine was running, and also inside were two small children, a one month old and one year old.

According to court documents, Holloman was unconscious with his tongue sticking out of his mouth. Once police got him awake he told them he was from Austin but was driving to Maryland. He had stopped in the parking lot because he was tired and hadn't slept for three days.

Officers say they noticed red track marks on Holloman's arms.

Police conducted a probable cause search and found approximately 9 grams of cocaine and 3 grams of heroin. They also found two used syringes.

Holloman and Silver are both facing charges for child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
