The Lower Colorado River Authority projects that both Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan are expected to remain at above-average leves through the spring, even if the weather turns drier.

LCRA says Travis and Buchanan water levels have been above average for more than a year.

In March, the LCRA says the Highland Lakes watershed received below-average amounts of rain.

Inflows into the Highland Lakes in March were about 63 percent of the March historical average.
