Students told to rub floor, lick fingers
Some parents are outraged after they say their children were forced to rub the floor with their hands, and then told to lick their fingers.
Parents in Teague, Texas say their fourth grade kids were told to do it as punishment from their principal.
It was after a bad word was found on the bathroom wall.
"When I went to school, we had punishment as far as writing sentences ... 'I will not write bad words on the wall.' I mean, it could've been something done different than having them to sit there and lick their hands off of this nasty floor," said mother Adrienne Acosta.
When the group of parents met with the superintendent and principal they say the principal admitted doing it. The district says the investigation is ongoing.
