Case McCoy, Jordan Hicks Reinstated to UT Football Team

Updated: Sunday, January 13 2013, 08:36 PM CST
Texas Longhorns seniors to be Jordan Hicks and Case McCoy have rejoined the team. This is according to UT head football coach Mack Brown.

"Jordan Hicks and Case McCoy have rejoined the team," said Brown in a statement Sunday. "Obviously when you break team rules there's a certain amount of trust that has been broken, and that will be addressed with further discipline. That discipline will be handled within the team."

Hicks and McCoy were sent home from the Alamo Bowl for a violation of team rules. KEYE TV confirmed that the two players were the subject of a sexual assault investigation by San Antonio Police. Perry Q. Minton, the attorney for Hicks, told KEYE TV in a statement earlier this week, "I just got off the phone with the San Antonio Police Department detective in charge of the investigation of my client and he has informed me that no charges will be brought against Jordan Hicks or anyone else in this matter. The investigation is closed." Case McCoy, Jordan Hicks Reinstated to UT Football Team
