Georgetown Pride Wins Bronco 12U World Series

This weekend, the Georgetown Youth Girls Softball Association 12U All Star team outlasted 19 other teams from Texas and Louisiana to win the South Zone Girls Softball League Bronco 12U World Series in Burleson.

The Georgetown Pride went 2-0-1 in pool play, outscoring opponents 23-3 in its first three games. Upon reaching the Final Four Saturday, the Pride defeated the Manchaca Dawgs, 4-2 then defeated the Oak Hill Tapout, 5-4 to claim the Bronco 12U World Series title.
