Houston Opens With a Win

Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 09:47 PM CDT
Hard knocks for Miami, the reality show is over for Dolphins coach Joe Philbin but the life reality continues.

Rookie Ryan Tannehill's debut marred by three first half plays.  Jonathan Joseph snags an interception ... Which leads to a field goal.  And then on the next Dolphins possession - Brian Cushing - the same.

There were some doubts Arian Foster would even play in the opener. Not only did he play, he scored twice. This one went for 14 yards in the second quarter...10-3 Texans

Not done with Tannehill throwing to the wrong team.  Kareem Jackson nabs this one - that led to another Foster score - 17-3 Houston...Foster had 79 yards

This Matt Schaub to Andre Johnson touchdown pass is the third Texans touchdown in less than two minutes...24-3 Houston at the half

Texans win 30-to-10, and after the game, announce Schaub gets a four-year contract extension too.
