Blue Santa To Help Thousands Of Central Texas Families


Operation Blue Santa will announce their plan to assist The Christmas Bureau of Austin & Travis County with 6,000 individuals in need this 2012 holiday season Thursday.

This comes after The Christmas Bureau posted a sign on their door saying the organization had moved and to call Blue Santa. However, Blue Santa has no idea where they are.

APD Chief Art Acevedo, along with the Blue Santa Board of Directors will discuss how the community can get involved to help both organizations.

Blue Santa serves more than 3,800 families with 14,000 children receiving gifts during the holiday season. Their scheduled delivery date is December 15.
