Elderly Woman Injured In East Austin House Fire
An 80-year-old woman was injured Wednesday night after a fire at a house in East Austin.
The blaze ignited at around 6 p.m. in a bedroom at a house in the 2100 block of Rosewood Avenue, just west of Pleasant Valley Road.
AFD says the elderly woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Three others were treated at the scene.
Damage estimates are $2,500 for the structure and $1,000 for the contents inside. The cause is still under investigation.
