Thousands In Austin Run 22nd Annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot


Almost 20,000 central Texans are expected to take part in the 22nd Annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Day.

Whether your running, walking or jogging this family friendly event is a great way to burn some calories before your feast.

Races include a 5K, 1K and Stepping Stone School Kid's K that starts at the Long Center for the Performing Arts.

You can still register at 7:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning at the Long Center.

Participants can park for free at City Hall, One Texas Center or the Palmer Events/Long Center garage.

Since, 1990, the Thanksgiving run has donated more than $1.25 million to help Caritas provide services to Austin's homeless.
