Powerball officials say the jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is now $550 million.
In addition to being the largest Powerball jackpot ever, it is the second largest jackpot in history for any lottery game.
The jackpot has a cash value of $360.2 million. Odds of winning the jackpot prize are one in 175,223,510.
Lottery players have until 9 p.m. Wednesday to buy tickets. The numbers are picked at 9:59 p.m.
