Hays County CISD Votes To Ban Confederate Flag On Student Clothing
The Hays County Consolidated Independent School District voted Monday night the change their student dress code – specifically, banning the display of the confederate flag.
The board voted 5-2 in favor of the change.
The ban also includes any offensive, intolerant, or racially hostile imagery, while on any school district property or at any school district sponsored event.
