Body Found In Burned Dripping Springs Home

The Hays County Sheriff's Office says a body was found Sunday in a Dripping Springs home that was damaged in a fire.

Deputies say firefighters found the body at around 10 a.m. as they were extinguishing the blaze at 31305 RM 12, between Fitzhugh Road and Hamilton Pool Road.

Investigators say the cause of death is still undetermined pending the results of an autopsy. The suspicious nature of the death and the cause of the fire are still under investigation.

The identity of the body has not been released because the investigation is ongoing, according to deputies.
