6-Year-Old Raised Money, Spirits For Austin Habitat
A special Austin six-year-old has made our area a better place.
A few weeks ago, Sonja Athey asked her mom if she could hold a fundraiser to do something to help. She made a video appeal as an invitation for her friends to help her raise money for Austin Habitat.
They raised close to $100 then went to the store and bought pillows, bath towels and guest towels for new Habitat homeowner April Fulton.
Photojournalist Josh Beebe was there Friday when Sonja gave those gifts to April.
