South Austin Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Injured
Police say a woman was injured in a drive-by shooting in South Austin Tuesday night.
It happened around 9:25 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Wilson Street, just north of Oltorf Street between South First Street and South Congress Avenue.
Police say shots were fired from a car passing by the complex and hit a 22-year-old woman in the leg inside one of the apartments.
APD says the woman was conscious and breathing as she was transported to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man driving a green sedan.
