Missing Georgia Boys Found In North Austin

Austin police arrested Daniel Cleary - the man responsible for a nationwide Amber Alert.

The search ended in North Austin at the Crossland Hotel when police were called to check the welfare of individuals at the hotel. 

Police said two young boys from Georgia who were reported missing this week have been located in Texas and their father is in custody and facing charges.

Brothers Ben and Henry Cleary -- ages 9 and 7 -- were visiting with their father, Daniel Cleary, and were supposed to return home Wednesday. An Amber Alert was issued Thursday when the boys didn’t return home.

Police arrested Cleary on two outstanding warrants.  He had a handgun and a large sum of cash. Currently Cleary is in the Williamson County jail.
