Funeral Held For Austin EMS Captain Killed In Traffic Accident
Austin-Travis County EMS Captain Randy Trinkle was laid to rest Thursday.
Trinkle was killed over the weekend in a head on collision while driving home after work. He had just completed 15 years of service with EMS.
A large public safety contingent gathered Thursday afternoon at the Tony Burger Center parking lot in South Austin and then traveled together to Fredericksburg for the funeral.
It was an emotional day for many friends, family and colleagues. Trinkle is survived by his wife Anna and two children.
