The average is $3.16, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 830 gas outlets in Austin.
The price is about three cents higher than a month ago but one cent lower than a year ago.
The national average is $3.26. It dropped nine cents per gallon during the last month and seven cents lower than a year ago.
