Snow Blankets The Texas Hill Country
Residents in parts of the Hill Country woke up to snow and some slick roads. In Fredericksburg, residents flocked to the Market Platz downtown to take pictures of the Christmas tree and holiday decorations covered in snow, and as the sun came up, kids showed up to have snowball fights.
Streets remained slick once the sun came up after icy overnight conditions, but the city manager said he had heard no reports of accidents. He said crews were prepared if necessary.
