Truck Carrying Waste Overturns In College Station
A truck that was carrying waste from the local water treatment plant overturned Wednesday in College Station.
Bryan-College Station’s CBS affiliate KBTX reported the truck overturned at approximately 2 p.m. at the intersection of University Drive and Spring Loop, about three miles northeast of the Texas A&M campus.
The intersection was closed to traffic for about an hour and a half. The waste that the truck was carrying had been treated and dried which made it easier to sweep away.
Both streets are now clean and re-opened.
