Police: Texas Vending Machine Thieves Arrested After 10 Year Crime Spree

Police say they have arrested a Texas man and woman involved in a long time statewide crime spree.

Jory Merrill and Jaime Seeton are accused of breaking into vending machines around the state.

Surveillance cameras caught them at apartment complexes here in Austin, Fort Worth, Waco, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, police said.
More break-ins have been reported in Bryan/College Station, Engelwood, Bay City, Temple, Grand Prairie, Arlington and even more.

Seguin Detective Jaime Diaz recovered the tools, gloves, coins, cash and notebook, which in detail listed all the cities. He says Merrill hit with gate codes and notes about where every vending machine was located.

"It's what he does. He doesn't really work-every month.  They take a five, six day drive and break into different vending machines," Diaz said.

Diaz says Seeton, Merrill's girlfriend, was the getaway driver for 10 years.
