1 Child Seriously Hurt In North Austin Traffic Accident
A traffic crash in North Austin seriously injured a child this morning.
It happened at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the northbound I-35 frontage road near Rundberg Lane.
Austin police say one car was trying to make a right turn on Fenelon Drive. A second car rear-ended the first, according to officers. Both cars flipped.
A child in the first car went to Dell Children's Medical Center in serious condition. The driver was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge. The driver of the second car was not seriously hurt.
