Texas Restaurant Closes For The First Time Due To Blizzard

Monday's blizzard forced one Texas panhandle restaurant to do something it hasn't done in nearly three decades -- close.

In the 33 years Jeanie Campbell has owned Cattleman's Cafe she's never had to turn the lights off or lock the doors. But 19 inches of snow temporarily closed the doors on the Route 66 landmark.

"We didn't have a waitress. The cook got stuck, he couldn't get here. We just had to close up. We've never closed before," Says Campbell.

Another problem she had -- no key. They had to figure out a way to lock the doors and get everyone out so they could go home.

Now that the storm is over the cafe is open business again.
