Man Hit By 18 Wheeler On I-35 In Round Rock

A man was hit by an 18 Wheeler after falling from overpass in Round Rock.

Round Rock Police said a man fell from the overpass at State Highway 45 onto the Southbound lanes of Interstate 35 around 5:10 p.m.Sunday afternoon.

Officer Dee Carver, Round Rock Police, said the man was hit by an 18 wheeler after falling.

The man was transported to Round Rock Medical Center and his condition is unknown.

Interstate 35 is shut down in Round Rock and all cars are being diverted to the Hesters Crossing Road exit.

Police say the Interstate will be shut down pending the investigation.
