1 Killed In Far Northwest Austin House Fire
An elderly woman died after being pulled from a burning home in far Northwest Austin.
It happened at around 5:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Tamayo Drive, just south of Anderson Mill Road and east of Hwy 183.
According to John Foster with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, the victim, 76-year-old Patsy Warford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Units from the Cedar Park Fire Department, the Sam Bass Fire Department, the Jollyville Fire Department and the Austin Fire Department have responded to the blaze.
