TCSO Detectives Seek Public's Help For Information On Deceased Man
The Travis County Sheriff's Office says a man was found dead near a bridge on East Slaughter Lane last week and they need the public's help to find out why.
Investigators say deputies found the body last Tuesday at around 8:50 p.m. in the 900 block of East Slaughter Lane, about a mile east of I-35, after looking for the owner of a bicycle parked on a nearby bridge.
The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the man as 59-year-old Michael Ray Rein.
Investigators are asking anyone who has recently seen Rein or his bicycle should contact Detective Paul Salo at 512-854-3245.
