Body Found In Southeast Austin
Austin police are investigating a body found behind a gas station in Southeast Austin as a suspicious death.
The body, identified only as a white man in his 50s, was discovered at around 10 a.m. in a field behind a Valero gas station on Ben White Boulevard, just west of Montopolis Drive.
Police say the man was a transient who frequented the area. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
