Round Rock Teenager Died After Falling From Flyover To I-35
A Central Texas high school student died when he fell from a highway overpass Sunday.
Todd Aaron Schmerber-Phelan, 19, was a student at Cedar Ridge High School in the Round Rock School District.
Round Rock police say at approximately 5 p.m. Sunday, Schmerber-Phelan fell from the SH 45 flyover to the southbound lanes of I-35. He was hit by an 18-wheeler and died at a Round Rock hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
