TopGolf bringing 350 Jobs To Austin
A 65,000 square foot golf entertainment facility is opening its doors in North Austin.
TopGolf has three levels, 120 climate-controlled hitting bays, and an open air range for golf lovers and those just looking for a good time.
Jarrod Wittman with the company gave KEYE TV an exclusive look inside the facility. He tells us TopGolf will bring 350 jobs, and in 10 years $50 million to the city.
"We find ourselves wanting to be a part of the community," said Wittman.
Once finished, customers can expect an authentic golf experience with entertainment, food and drinks.
"We will be the largest sports bar in the city of Austin. We will house over 200 Plasmas HD TVs," said Wittman.
For $20 an hour, up to six people can join in on the fun. Don't worry, golf clubs are included or you can bring your own.
The facility also features state of the art technology. The golf balls have a microchip in them that will track exactly how far you hit the ball.
"So you will either get to cheer people on or laugh completely at their scoring," said Wittman.
TopGolf will open at the end of April.
