Austin Gas Prices Falling
Average retail gasoline prices in Austin have fallen 3.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.53 per gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 830 gas outlets in Austin.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.66 per gallon.
Including the change in gas prices in Austin during the past week, prices yesterday were 2.4 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 14.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 10.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 8.8 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
